RESOURCES

The process of raptor rehabilitation and education require that we keep ourselves open to new techniques, treatments and therapies. We learn something new each day, and welcome the opportunity to see things in a different way. We are passionate about books and return to our favorites frequently when identifying a species or deciphering behavior. To this end, we have compiled a list of our favorite books to help you on your birding journey. If you know of something we should be reading, let us know.

  • The Birder's Handbook
A field guide to the natural history of north american birds
By Paul R. Erlich, David S. Dobkin, and Darryl Wheye
  • North American Owls
Biology and natural history  by paul a. johnsgard
  • The sibley guide to birds
    by david allen sibley
